Cahill Expressway Improvements

The Cahill Expressway, an overhead roadway over Circular Quay, Sydney, has been improved to give better tourist access to the footway and a new Viewing Area from the Circular Quay pavement level, with two new glass enclosed lifts and a covered and raised area with interpretive historic information giving extensive views over Sydney Harbour. Improvements to the railway station below include new bronze and glass balustrades to lighten the heavy masonry effect of the building.
